TABLE HOST INFORMATION

Thank you for considering hosting a table at Acres of Diamonds 2024 Diamond Dinner! The participation of table hosts is vital to the success of the event and directly supports safe housing and services for homeless moms and kids. Together, we can provide hope, healing and change for families to rebuild their lives and break the cycle of poverty, addiction and abuse.

 

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A TABLE HOST?

Table Hosts are community connectors, passionate about the mission of Acres, and eager to share with their friends and families.  Guests will have the opportunity to become partners in ending the cycle of homelessness for moms and their kids.


HOW
IT WORKS

There are two ways to participate as a table host in our in-person event:

Option 1: Purchase a Full Table of 10 Seats

Purchase a full table of 10 seats and invite friends to join you as your guest at the Diamond Dinner.

Option 2: Assemble a Table of 10 Guests

Purchase your own ticket(s) and invite friends to join you at your table by purchasing their own tickets.


 

FAQS

What if I have more or less than 10 guests at my table?

Tables are typically set for 10 but can fit up to 12 guests.  If you have more than 12 guests, we can work with you to seat your additional guests with another group, or you can choose to host more than one table!   We also understand that sometimes plans change and guests are not able to make it, so Acres staff will be ready to help you round out your group with additional guests if needed.


Am I responsible for raising a certain amount of money from my table guests?

No.  During the event on September 28th there will be a variety of opportunities for guests to make donations.  Please encourage your guests to contribute an amount that is meaningful to them.


How do I invite guests to join my table?

Once you agree to be a table captain, a member of Acres staff will reach out to you with instructions on how to register for the event, as well as a compelling email template to use when sending a digital invitation.  We can also provide you with paper copies of the invitation to mail to your prospective guests.  Invitations and online registration will be available starting in June. In the meantime, we highly encourage you to spread the word to those you want to invite to mark the event on their calendars now!  


Will there be Live and Silent Auction items at the Event?

Yes! We will have both a silent auction and live auction during the event.  Guests will be able to bid in-person for any of these items. 


Can I still support Acres if I cannot attend the event?

Yes!  You can make a donation to help homeless moms and kids in advance of the Diamond Dinner and we’ll recognize you during the evening.
